3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. For a detailed breakdown of each cookie type, please see our Cookie Policy Refund Policy Contact.

3.1 Essential Cookies

Cloudflare, our CDN and security provider, may set cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the website (such as __cflb and __cf_bm). These are strictly necessary cookies that enable security features and load balancing.

3.2 Analytics Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga, _ga_<ID>) to distinguish unique users and track session information. These cookies contain randomly generated identifiers and do not contain any personal information. Analytics data is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.

3.3 Advertising Cookies

We are in the process of integrating Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Service. Once active, Google AdSense will set cookies to serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing activity across websites. These cookies are set by Google and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

3.4 localStorage

As described in Section 1.2, we use your browser's localStorage to store test results, training progress, and language preferences. localStorage is not a cookie and is not transmitted with HTTP requests. It persists until you manually clear it.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data when you use our website:

4.1 Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about the use of the Service. Google uses the data collected to track and examine the use of the Service, prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. For more information on Google's privacy practices, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4.2 Google AdSense

We plan to use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense is an advertising service provided by Google LLC. It uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you may opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Cloudflare may collect limited technical data (such as IP addresses) for security purposes and to provide its services. Cloudflare's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

5. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, our data retention practices are minimal:

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

IQgenio is a general-audience website. However, our Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will delete any such information if we become aware of it.

We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy regarding Google Analytics and future Google AdSense integration.

9. International Data Transfers

Our Service uses third-party providers (Google and Cloudflare) that may process data in countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States. These providers have implemented appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. By using our Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in these jurisdictions.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with our Service. Our website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption) to protect data in transit. We use Cloudflare's security services, including DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and bot management. Our server infrastructure is secured with firewalls, CrowdSec intrusion detection, and regular security updates.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us (for example, links to Google's privacy settings). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
